I would go for one of the following:focus great car all rrurdeocornola prices are a little expensivecivic nice car againastra if you are lucky u should be able to get the new shape for under 5kOthers i wouldn't personally wouldn't go for but u mightseat, 307, golf, c3, megane, bravo, A-ClassWildcard- bmw 3 series, you can pick-up a nice one (318i) for about a35k that should be around a Y reg SE spec, around 70 thousand miles, bmw engines are bullet proof. Servicing is not that expensive my local does it for a3180 does not matter which type.Personally i like the astra because of the new shape or the BMW
