not lazy. just dealing with the retlaiy of the medium. people read ads, if they read them at all, for information. how much? where can i get it? etc. the role of the medium has changed and the way it's consumed has changed. so the ads have to change too. people doni' want to read ads for the same reason people don't like talking to salespeople. makes sense.
