I don't know of anywhere that has free trial venorsis. Windows XP Media Center 2005 was only ever sold on factory systems, never as a stand alone you could buy later. Be thankful. I have it and it's horrible. Window menus open on their own and it's a RAM hog. Windows Vista Premium and Ultimate editions have the functionality that Media Center had but alot less bugs and you can buy either upgrades or full venorsis of these off the shelf. Vista Basic doesn't have the Media Center function.
