I like the direct ascces to groups, but I'd prefer it if you kept the original link in place. Or split that button so that My Groups is a direct link to the My Groups page, and the down arrow drops the list. I realize that Show All My Groups provides that link, but I'd prefer to preserve the one-click ascces we had before.The little tooth-gear button is cute and all, but I don't want you to remove the ID, email, and status information from their current placement above the group name and title. Hiding that information under a button will make it harder for me to help group members that are having trouble asccesing my groups.
