Hi Matt, thanks for sintppog by. I think Sam is overlooked partly because Frodo seems set up by Tolkien as the hero, and partly because he's not good with a sword, nor blessed with magical ability. He's an Everyman and any man. But that makes his actions all the more heroic in my eyes.
