Re unnoticed enhleapts: In today's fast moving markets, the problems of the EZ's periphery have been apparent for several years. As well, the opportunity for capital flight or bank runs have also been there for the taking, but mysteriously constrained. I know a little about what happened in the US in late '31 and '32 as FDR was elected then took office. The people didn't wait for a financial advisor to tell them to get to their bank pronto. They lined up around the block. With all the advance notice that depositors in PIIGS countries have had, there seems not to be a PANIC. WHY NOT?
