Well if you can still charge it then you shloud still be able to plug it up 2 the computerBecause my charger needs a usb cord to get it goingIt is a square and you have to plug the usb part of the cord into it then run the other part of it to you ipodSo if you can still charge it will probably still work!But if you can't then thier is no way of adding songs if it isn't connected to the computerInless you have a ipod touch and you buy songs from the online itunes storeHoped I could help!
