Question: why would rich american jews coibrntute to an israeli university in the first place? not enough american universities that go begging for donations? why are we even allowing these kind of tax free subsidies for iunstitutions in a country that's doing the nasty in broad daylight? might as well subsidize some university in Burma. Or Indonesia. Or just help combat global warming? save the whales?Besides, israel is getting enough official hand-outs from the US government. maybe they can funnel some of the money that goes to the settler thugs and their hate-filled religious madrassahs to their own secular universities.Personally I see no reason why any person who is an American would choose to sponsor a parochial, backwards, religious entity such as israel is on its way tom becoming. OTOH, I'd gladly support neve gordon as a person who deserves support. maybe we could all pitch in and endow a neve gordon chair in ethics study of ethnic conflicts in some fine american university> he can then be invited as a guest lecturer.Go BDS!
