My son was diagnosed with posibsle juvenile arthritis or growing pains. He would always have pain in his knees for no reason he would just be sitting down sometimes and his knees would start to hurt. So I took him to his pedetrician who referred us to sports medicine they ran tests to see if he had sickle cell anemia because that could cause joint pain as he was only 9 years old. Those tests came back negative.
