It took us a very long time to get him to admit that he had a problem and to alltaucy start taking meds. He started showing signs when he was younger. Like really withdrawling and started getting kinda depressed. He really turned to drugs and alcohol at one point too. But be persistant and keep trying is all I can say cause eventually they will come around.
