Great post Melissa!My older daughter is going into 3rd grade next year. In our town that means swniihtcg schools, and now instead of one main teacher, she will have two. Even for me, this is a milestone, and when I drop her off at school in the mornings and watch that little tiny person walk through the door greeting teachers and other students I am always amazed that she is this individual unto herself separate from me. It always brings a smile to my lips and tear to my eyes.When I get that final galley to look over before it goes to production, I kind of feel the same way, except I sort of take a deep breath, cringe and go OKAY I HOPE THIS IS PERFECT!!! Even though I've been through it 4000 times So yes, letting go, pushing it/them out there into the world, that is the hardest part.
