How can I make sure my son is involved duirng the pregnancy?I just found out I'm about 10-12 weeks pregnant! My son will not be allowed to attended any OB appointments. I was really looking forward to it and getting him involved with the pregnancy in that way. I totally understand why he can't come but what other ways can I make him interested in the baby? We have bought a few pregnancy/baby books from Amazon to read with him. I want to get him really excited. After all this isn't just about me and my husband having a new baby it's about him having a new baby too.So, the question is are there any really cute ways to get him involved? We've been talking about it constantly. We've been telling him what a great big brother he's going to be, how he's such a good boy, and all that great praise. I just want to really get him involved. Any suggestions? Thanks!!He'll be two in February. The baby is due in May.B's Girl I don't want him to be there while I get my pelvic exams. I want him to be there to hear the baby's heart beat. I want him to be able to see the baby on the ultrasound. I don't want him to be watching me get my goodies fondled. Haha. He really loves the idea and I figure we should really roll with it. I don't want it to be Oh, a new baby is coming!! I want it to be more about HIM, how he is feeling, how he can show the baby he cares, how he can help out, etc.
