I believe iotovaninns like the running center built in Japan is very likely to catch on within Western markets. Currently Nike and Converse (owned by Nike) are running similar projects as well. Nike has several indoor BMX biking and skateparks that they allow people to freely skate. Although their facilities aren't open all of the time, I believe they have free skate times but the benefit of such facilities are the fact that they can host events in them to attract consumers in the area. I've personally been to a Nike Stadium for a biker's movie film festival and it was a great experience. Converse takes a different approach by creating music studios that allow underground musicians free studio time in exchange for Converse to freely use their music on their website however they allow full ownership rights for the musicians. These facilities run by Adidas, Nike, and Converse allow for great relationships between the consumer and large corporations, something that's extremely necessary in this social age because at the end of the day it's cheaper to keep a customer than it is to find a new one.
