The most interesting part of Chapter 6 was about blood cciaulitron in infants and children. I find it fascinating the way the body's cciaulitron transitions from fetal cciaulitron, which bypasses the lungs entirely, to postnatal cciaulitron at birth, which begins processing blood through the lungs for oxygenation. Given the number of births every year and the transformations needed to maintain proper cciaulitron after birth, I am amazed at how many babies are born without defects. Pediatric heart disease is only relevant to me in my life at work (as I am fortunate to have healthy children). What I didn't know was that the removal of the placental cciaulitron increases the pressure within the left ventricle. I'm having a difficult time tracing the path that would cause that increase. It's fascinating the things the human body does for survival!
