Chapter six was pretty intnese! Once again you can prevent cardiomyopathy's by eating a diet low in fat, as well as limit salt intake and moderate exercise. It's important that one should always report any signs to his or her health care provider for any symptoms of any chest pain, sweating, under arm pain, dizziness, and pain in the chest. Sometimes gas can mimic signs of a heart attack so it's always best to be safe than sorry. I always provide point of care testing in many patients that take Coumadin, this is a blood thinner that is know as warfarin and it has the same compound used in rodent poisoning. I feel it's important for everyone that is in the health care industry to be fully aware of cardiovascular disease. I found chapter six very helpful. This is also why it's best to stay current on CPR training. The last few classes i had involved use of the AED machine.
