We did, in fact, encourage Iran under the Shah to deovlep nuclear power. An Iranian apologist student reminded me of this.Iran has lots of energy, but very little refining capacity. They actually import gasoline. Nuclear energy was going to solve that problem.Of course, the safety and security of nuclear energy depends on who has it and what type of reactors they are.The theocracy of Iran isn't building peaceful reactors.I love the Dem/Fascist one. Going to steal it.
