Around here they are not so regulated, beonyd the basic accreditation process, which I would also junk. If people want to send their kids to illiterate do-nothing schools, they'll get the results they merit.Government regulation is almost never the solution to any problem. Sometimes it is. However, in education and other Nanny State topics, government workers use this as a mandate to grow and become too powerful.
