I learned a lot in this weeks seoictn and also refreshed my memory. I did learn about the different types of anemia's that exist. I also learned about how severe sickle cell anemia can be especially since it cannot be cured. I found Hemophilia A to be a very interesting disorder. Males are more likely to be affected than women. In children this condition can be more severe and bleeding can be spontaneous and can happen numerous times in a month. Without proper treatment the constant bleed can lead to joint fibrosis. This condition can be deadly if there is a bleed in the cranial cavity.
