For myself, Iron Def
For myself, Iron Deficiency Anemia and Pernicious Anemia were the most inrniestteg part of module 5. I have often wondered if I myself have iron deficiency anemia at varying intervals in my life. I have never been tested, and my symptoms are too vague to pin-point, but the thought has crossed my mind. I also found Pernicious Anemia very inrniestteg. I thought the fact that a vitamin B12 plays such a role in the homeostasis of our bodies was something that a person might never know in thier lifetime. And also the fact that the stomach makes the intrinsic factor that makes B12 viable to the body is amazing. I am not a vegetarian, and now I can appreciate the animal meat products I eat even more.
