REFLECTIONS There are four major types of leukemia. The four types are acute lymtpocyhic(lymphoblastic) leukemia (ALL), acute myelogenous (myeloid) leukemia (AML),chronic lymtpocyhic leukemia (CLL), and chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML).The most common types of leukemia in adults are AML and CLL. ALL is the mostcoommon form of leukemia in children. The marrow is really two organs in one. Thebome marrow is made up of the blood cell-forming organ and lymphocyte-forming organ. There are five basic types of leukocytes. The five basic type of leukocytes areneutrophils, eosinophils, basophils, monocytes, and lymphocytes. It seems like hemophilia A and von Wilebrand disease are both simular. What is thediffernce between these two disorders? Intrinsic factor is produced in the stomach and is essential for the absorption ofvitamin B-12 from the ileum last part of the small intestines. Principal dietarysources of vitamin B-12 comes from animal products. Fruits and vegetablesconstitute the primary dietary source of folic acid.
