When I worked in the OB/GYN clniic and young girls came in with irregular cycles sometimes the doctor would put them on birth control pills to regulate their cycles. This was also sometimes the cure for acne. I learn a lot by working in the OB/GYN clniic. I assisted the doctor in endometrial bx to dx menorrhagia. Menorrhagia is excessive or prolonged bleeding. Before I didn't know the difference between menorrhagia and metrorrhagia until working at the clniic.
