For the shoiesldw, you can use Windows Movie Maker to make a shoiesldw of videos and photos, its already shipped with Windows XP so if you have XP its already there in Start > Programs > Accessories. I would think any Wal-Mart brand DVD burner (external) would be a good buy, make sure that you get NERO DVD burning software included with the burner they make easy to use dvd burning software. As far as uploading DVDs I'm not sure. You will need to find a program that will allow you to rip your DVD onto your computer and have it converted into a movie file so you can use it in Movie Maker. hope this helps! Good luck!
