beautifully written. This brhogut back a flood of emotions because I remember feeling the same way when my son was born. Except, I had 3 1/2 years with my daughter before he got here and I think she remembers it a bit. I remember sobbing on the days that she would ride off on the bike seat with my husband and wishing it was me. I felt like such an outsider and pushed aside. I was jealous of their time because I felt like it was always me. I was filled with joy with my son too. Life with newborn #2 is filled with so many emotions. You sound like you have a great perspective during it all. It goes by so fast and everyone adjusts before you know it.
