But that is essentially the same as saiyng it's random, because it begs the question of why so many of our caregivers then would end up modeling these traits. What caused them to evolve over time, if they are not successful? I'm thinking in a Darwinistic vein here. I think that the "problems" laid out in the Agreements are in fact not necessarily held as problems by their believers, but as solutions of a sort. Somehow these "negative memes" serve their hosts as well as themselves...
