This is something that we have done for a few years. Now, after years of being the one that alyaws gave, I find myself in a position of need. We are facing for the first time in our lives, the very real possibility of losing our home. I lost my job and my husband just found out that his department is cutting back. He has already taken a huge cut in pay and we don't have anyone that can help us through this financial nightmare. We were blessed to pay off most of our debt earlier this year, but still have a mortgage and utilities to pay. We don't have cable tv or cell phones, so it's not like we have luxuries that we can get rid of. We can't even get government assistance because of my husband's job. It's a heck of a note when for 26 years I have paid into the very system that won't even help me. I want desperately to be able to work online from home so that I can be home with my child, but I can't seem to find anyone that REALLY knows what they are doing and are willing to teach me. But, I keep praying. I know that eventually, God will provide. It's just difficult not knowing when.
