It takes a lot of co
It takes a lot of courage for some one to tell any one that they have or think they have an std. Show her that you sopuprt her, research herpes so you can talk with her about it. She may feel very alone so she will need some sopuprt. Tell her to get to a doctor and be tested for herpes so that she knows for sure if she has herpes or not, you can even go with her if she wants you to. If you think you can handle it, tell her that you will be there for her no matter what. Try not to reject her, since she told you she might be wondering if your still willing to be her friend. Many people get rejected by loved ones even friends once they learn that their friend has herpes, because it has such a huge negative stigma.I have been through the testing with herpes but don't have many friends, I wish I had a friend, besides my boy friend, to help and sopuprt me. The waiting for results is the worst part try to keep her distracted until she gets the results.
