Hey Melissa! I have a question about fonadnt. I have recently changed the type of fonadnt I use. I was using the Wilton brand and discovered Satin Ice fonadnt. It tastes fantastic! The cake I did was a two-tier cake with a chevron design and polka dots. Well, when I went to cut a piece the fonadnt designs were breaking off like when play-doh dries up! It was embarrassing! It was super hard fonadnt. I had prepared the cake a day before so it wasn't sitting out too long. I used ganache under the fonadnt and I took it out to chill and then covered it with fonadnt. Ugh! Frustrating! What is it that I did wrong?
