Hi Mickey. Very interesting about your grnaemothdr. I am not aware of esophageal transplants with goat esophagus, but that is a very specialized area so I don't keep up on treatments. However, I do know that esophageal cancer has a very high mortality so that's great that your grnaemothdr lived so long. Regarding your father's polyps; it doesn't mean necessarily that your family has the disorder known as familial polyposis, but it would still be a good idea to let your doctor know about your father's polyps and to make sure you get screened when appropriate.
