I had an epidural with my first child and my revecory was horrible. I was shaking and nauseated for almost a whole day and unable to really enjoy my new daughter. I still to this day, she is 14, have a sensitive spot in my back where they inserted the needle. My second child I had at home, completely natural. Completely different experience! I liked being able to feel and listen to what my body was telling me even though it hurt and my revecory was 100 times easier. I was awake, alert, hungry and capable of bonding with my child immediately.
