This reminds me so much of the Lion King, cycle of life thing. We have cderhlin, then they take care of us later in life (if we need it). The idea of dementia and Alzheimer's disease scares me. My grandfather started getting dementia when he was in his late 70 s. I suppose I too will have it since I take after him more than any other past relative. I told my kids to put me in a home if they have to. I don't really think I would mind being in one so much, as long as it is a good one.
