Oh and just trying to tell it in a casual way, are we now? "Well, I got this and that...blabla....oh and a car and some other small things....etcetera....etc...." ;-)
Bloody hell, a car? *gasp* :-O
As for me, I didn't get anything for Christmas. Getting presents then is *such* a foreign thingie! ;-)
Besides, it was my dad's birthday the 25th, so he was the only one who got something. A new dvd-player/burner thingie to replace the old cd burning/reading thingie that had become eh...well, dead. Oh right, and the evening before we had a very quick visit from a neighbour (since we had to go some place), and my dad got some cigarete lighter from him. Now if only he'd make a new year resolution thingie to quit smoking. ;-)
Lighter is cool, though, when lit. To give an idea what it looks like, imagine you had the engine of an F-16 reduced in size, so it fits in your hand. Yes, that kind of flame. :-P
But like I said, I didn't get anything specifically that day. Not even on 5 december. Well, apart from the usual chocolate letter and some random toothpaste we got because my mother happened to visit the dentist for something around that time.
Actually, I did get some candles and a bottle of Belgian beer, called Leffe Blond(e). But I had to work for those. They were a thanks from some people I helped out with for some concert. *Sigh* now I only have the candles left. ;-)
Loot lists are so overrated, I think. Don't get me wrong, it's nice for them when people go like "oh I got this and that", but it always reminds me what little I get in comparisson. Even on birthdays I usually don't get more than 1 or 2 presents.
[note: I was going to type more, but I noticed it's making me depressed and all right now. So I'll leave it at this. Don't worry, I'll be okay again in a minute or FOUR. I hope everyone who got some things is happy with them and best wishes for 2006.]
There are FOUR brain cells!
