This week's module was most iteernsting because of the depth it went into. Alot of the diseases discussed such as autism, dementia and anxiety disorders though affecting the mind are not what I would readily think of as mental illness. The break down of anxiety disorders; As far as I knew there was simply anxiety. The book lists 6 other disorders under that category. I never knew Alzheimer's could only be definitively diagnosed through autopsy.The eating disorders also don't strike me as mental illnesses but after reading the emotional toll the fear of becoming fat takes on people it makes sense that it would be classified as a mental illness.
