My Aunt has Multiple Sclerosis. It is a very hard disease to watch take over a prsoen's entire body and life. I didn't know that MS eroded the Schwann cells (myelin sheath's) of the peripheral nervous system. It is an autoimmune disease that attacks a protien component of the shealth causing it to harden which gives it the name sclerosos. As this happens, the electrical signal is short-circuited causing a prsoen to lose control of their motor skills, balance, and vision to name a few affects. This is a very dibilitating condition. It find out more about it was both very interesting and sad at the same time.
