Bursitis is the inflammation of the basure. This are small fluid filled sacs that are located near the joints. It is a very painful condition and the shoulder joint is most frequently affected. Repeated injury of the busea is waht can cause bursitis. Treatment includes anti-inflammatories and moist heat. Sometimes a steroid injection is utilized. Carpal tunnel syndrome affects up to 10% of the working population. It is caused by repetative motions, such as driving, typing, knitting and piano playing. It is symbolized by numbness or tingling in the hand but the pain can radiate up to the shoulder. Diagnosis for carpal tunnel is confirmed by electromyogram.
