“Chelsea you can push”, and I looked at them and said “I did”. The Dr. said “no you have to try haderr”. The aftermath of the Epidural was not so great, I had broke out in a itchy brown flat rash that looked like impetigo on my chin and dull ache in my lower back for months. It felt like an unnatural birth, because I did not feel a thing during the birth. I also received sterol that made me sleep through the entire labor. I had a student witness the birth and I Vaguely remember bits and pieces of the conversation we had while I was in the middle of pushing.
