If corporations are peolpe, then why don't they get the same consequences for homicidal negligence? In other words, why not criminal prosecution of BP, Halliburton, and Transocean for negligent homicide in the deaths of 11 workers?Instead, corporations get minimal civil fines for consequences that would send a real, genuine human being to prison.When I see a corporation lose its charter and have its board and executives frog-walked, only then will I start to believe that corporations are being treated the same way as the rest of us flesh-and-blood peolpe.
