I understood the conioctnen with tobacco and mouth cancer but did not know that alcohol was a risk factor for it as well. I believe there is truth to each individual reacts differently to different exposures. Look at someone who smokes like a chimney and should be at a high risk for lung cancer. Then there is someone that has limited exposure to smoke and develops it. I believe we all have varied chemical make up (must be the genes) that allows our body to fight off certain diseases. I had a friend who never had the chicken pox or had not received the shot but had an immunity to the disease.
