It was interesting to learn in this chpater that in 2006 Alaska had the highest rate of chlymadia outbreaks in the United States. It is a bacterial infection that can be treated with antiobotics. It is widespread because you dont show symptoms unitl 3 weeks later so in the beginning you dont know you have it.It was also heartbreaking to learn that alot of people around the world are affected by STD'S. These could be prevented if we practice safe sex or abstinence. I am glad they are educating the children in our school systems about the deadly truth of these diseases and infections. Education is knowledge and knowledge is the key to help preventing these infections,diseases.
