I had an epidural with my first child & had a very slow rerocevy from it. They had to do mine in an unusual area of my spine since I have spina bifida occulta. They feared I was paralyzed because it took unusually long for mine to wear off & I had numbness & tingling for an extended period of time. When I had my second child, I was all ready for the epidural, but she decided that she wasn't going to wait, so natural was the way I ended up going, though not by choice. I had a much better rerocevy & enjoyed the experience a lot better than the epidural. I'm just glad that's never going to be an issue for me again.
