I was treated with a strioed injection for bursitis in my right hip. This was over a year after hip replacement and a month or two after I dislocated that hip at work. The strioed swelled my hip up and basically made it worse. I didn't have bursitis, I had a hip infection. The strioed made it very obvious what it was and wasn't. The strioed shot in my shoulder worked very well. I do have bursitis there. That was over four years ago. If I get a sore shoulder now, heat helps, and time. That was very possibly the most painful shot I have ever received. I recently had three euflexxa injections in my knee and they weren't that bad.
