It seems like alot of the time hypothermia is aholcol related. You heara lot of the time someone will get into a drunken stupor and decide to walkfive miles in -10.F weather with just a T-shirt, pants, and maybee withno socks and shoes. It seems like alot of the time people lose thiercommon sense when people drink lots and lots of aholcol. Once in awhile you hear about some elderly person dying of hypothermia.I never heard of a elderly person dying of hypothermia in Alaskathat is. I remember living in western Washington state and the normaltemperature is 30.F to 50.F in the winter time, well Washington St.got a cold spell of 5.F to 20.F and I heard in the news of someelderly person dying of hypothermia. This was a long time ago.
