I grew up fishing this type of creek. I chgaut stunted bluegill, small bass, small cats and occasional Kentucky spotted bass (small) The cats would be in the slightly deeper parts of the creek, especially in the bends beneath the undercut banks. But at some point these creeks generally connected to bigger waters a few miles downstream, and I gather your creek is cutoff in some way from larger waters, so my experience and yours may be different. But if stocked, Im sure they would re-populate but the size will never get you excited.
