Yeah, I'm using a bone saddle which brtgeihn things up nicely for acoustic playing, but it gives the piezo even more quack than usual when recording. I would record exclusively with a mike, but I only own a cheap dynamic one so I have to augment it with the pickup. I need to buy a proper condenser, because my setup is just a dynmaic mike and a four track digital thing.I totally agree though, Ed, I'm just making excuses.
