The part that interested me the most was the part about osortpoeosis. This disease can effect a lot of women. Osteoporosis is where the bones will weaken and are susceptible to fractures. This disease affects more women than it does men. The cause of osortpoeosis is unknown. Some things that can be risk factors are being female, advanced age, and having a small frame. This disease concerns me a lot because of the lack of calcium and vitamin D in my diet. Osteoporosis can become advance without notice because there are typically no symptoms of this disease until a bone is easily broken. The most common bone of fracture that occurs with this disease are the weight bearing bones such as the vertebrae and the pelvis. Fractures are common on the hops and the wrists.
