I have to hand it to the medical prrdoveis that can pin point and diagnose some of the diseases we studied in the Module. A lot of the disease have very similar symptoms. I always thought bile was black but is is really orange or yellow. Which now makes more sense because bile is make from water, bile salts, cholesterol and bilirubin. Bilirubin is the yellow or orange by product once hemoglobin breaks down. I saw a patient who suffered from alcoholism look orange and now I have a better understanding of how happened. I also did not know that there were more types of Hepatitis then just A, B and C. Hepatitis D can not reproduce unless the cell has all ready been infected with hepatitis B. Hepatitis E is caused by fecal contaminated drinking water.
