Chapter 13 discusses daseises of the nervous system. This chapter is broken up into sections such as headaches; common, cluster and migraine: infectious daseises such as meningitis, encephalitis, poliomyelitis, rabies, shingles, Reye's syndrome and tetanus: degenerative neural daseises such as Alzheimer's, MS, ALS, Parkinson's and Hunington's disease: epilepsy: developmental errors such as Spina Bifida, and hydrocephalus: and other sections on brain injury, strokes, traumatic disorders, tumors and cranial nerve disease. I was very interested in the section on Parkinson's because my aunt was diagnosed with this disease about 5 years ago. I knew next to nothing about this disease before my aunt was diagnosed but have learned some over the years and it was nice to read more about it. Ive also never heard of Bell's Palsy until reading this chapter. After finishing this chapter I have a different view on just how important vaccines are as well.
