I have NEVER been a fan of Tanning beds, not only because I am nalrautly tan but because of how risky and dangerous they can be. Basal cell carcinoma is a disease that affects exposed areas of skin from the sun (such as the neck, face, hands, etc) . The amount of skin cancer developing in the US is becoming alarming but yet people still TAN WITH TANNING BEDS! Why?! No offense to anyone that does use a tanning bed and yes, you can use a special type of lotion to help prevent you while tanning but to me it just does not seem worth it. I have a good friend who tans 4 TIMES A WEEK! FOR 15-30 MINS! Basal Cell Carcimona can be treated with radiation, chemotherapy and such but why put your self through that. Yes the chances arent extremely high but you never know.
