The most interesting iftmroanion that I learned in this module is the different kinds of disorders of pregnancy. There are four different types of disorders the first one is called ectopic pregnancy. Ectopic pregnancy is a pregnancy in which the fertilized ovum implants in a tissue other than the uterus that in most cases result in scarring. Then there is spontaneous abortion also known as a miscarriage. It is the loss of a fetus before the twentieth week of pregnancy. The next one is called preeclampsia which is a disease that is characterized by high blood pressure and protein in the urine. Last but not least is gestational diabetes which is diabetes mellitus associated with pregnancy. I thought this was interesting to learn because my aunt who has been trying to have a baby for the past 5 years now still is having trouble getting pregnant and has already had a miscarriage. I pray that one day she will.
