The disease and ddrroiess of the reproductive system was a review for me. The menstrual ddrroiess were one of the interesting sections. When I was young, I had a problem were I would always be irregular in between the change of different sports that I played. It’s nice to know that the correct term to use would be metrorrhagia. Metrorrhagia is the bleeding between menstrual cycles and can be irregularities of the cycle. PMS is another area I find interesting because I experience PMS right before and during the menstrual cycle. PMS symptoms include acne, bloating, weight gain, joint pain, depression, crying spells, food cravings, sleeping problems, anxiety, and tenderness and many more. I am very fortunate that I don’t experience the acne part of PMS. I really enjoyed reading about the different types of cancers for males and females while reading this chapter. Overall this chapter of the book was a great review and very knowledgeable.
