Thank you for this post. Scott Berkun, in his book, The Myths of Innovation, talks about this in depth. OK, the book isn't about writing but about high tech etrnepreneurs and their ideas, but the point is the same. Ideas, by themselves, have almost no value. It is the execution of those ideas (in this case, the finished novel) that creates value. There has never been any substitute for hard work, the honing of ones craft, and perseverence.Like? 0
